Fried chicken wire slotted strainer - USA
Even though these were a kitchen necessity, especially in the South, when fried chicken was a weekly sacred event, I use mine in my kitchen every week. Good for frying but also for whisking eggs and stirfry Chinese food. Lastly, I used it to smush down my peanut butter cookie dough. Great gift because most people can't say, "Oh, I have one already".
