This El Ahijado de la Muerte (The Godson of Death) poster has great shades of browns and red with the graphic style of the artist Josep and Juanino Renau (brothers). This was Jorge Negrete 25th film. By 1946 he was the most famous “charro” Mexican singing cowboy, a title he did not necessarily care for. He thought being a movie actor wasn’t as sophisticated as being respected for his opera singing.
